Drink some Japanese Tea with us

There is simply no comparison to the quality of our tea

Tea CeremonyWe sell green tea that has been grown in Shizuoka (the home of Japanese Green Tea) in Japan. No other drink has the proven health benefits of green tea. Mount Fuji tea bag's are unique in being triangular in shape, this allows the tea to move around while brewing in a special filter bag. Mount Fuji tea is produced on our own farms ensuring all the goodness is kept in the tea.

Background to Mount Fuji's Japanese Green Tea (Sencha)
Mount fuji's Green Tea is grown in the Shimizu, Shizuoka which is regarded as Japan's premium Green Tea growing area. What makes our tea unique is that we work side by side with the tea farmers from our headquarters in Shizuoka. All our tea's are from chosen farms and that means we can sell to you the freshest and highest quality green tea all year round.

What makes shizuoka so special?
Shizuoka has a unique climate compared with most of Japan, it never get's very cold and soon warms up in the Spring. The water is very pure as the streams flow from Mount Fuji.

What is Shincha?
Green tea is harvested many times during the season but the first cut is always the best, it has the best taste and has the highest amount of beneficial properties.

Is the tea blended?
No, our tea is 100% green tea (Sencha) unlike many tea's that you see on sale at regular supermarkets.

Green tea can be expensive?
Supermarkets sell cheaper green tea.....There are many forms of green tea, you can split green tea into 3 types: Pure Green Tea, Mixed Green/ Black Tea & Flavoured Tea. Mount Fuji only sells pure, 100% green tea, we do not mix it with black tea to lower the price to compete with supermarkets as the quality is destroyed.

Green tea lowers the blood sugar level.

Green tea has the capability of lowering blood sugar levels. The catechins and polysaccharides in green tea have been shown to play a key role in this reduction, this has helped in the treatment of diabetes.

Green tea can help to suppress ageing.

Powerful antioxidising agents such as vitamin E and vitamin C restrain the ageing process, green tea contains both these vitamins. The main active ingredient of green tea, catechin, is thought to be a far stronger antioxidant than the two vitamins, adding to the strong weight of evidence that suggests green tea makes you look younger.

Green tea refreshes the body.
